The new, decentralised VentoTherm Twist ventilation system from Schüco in partnership with Renson impresses with a high level of heat recovery of up to 80%. The ventilation system is available without a filter, with a G3 coarse filter, or with an F7 fine particle filter.
For newbuilds and modernisation projects in residential or commercial buildings, Schüco VentoTherm Twist can now be integrated in all standard Schüco aluminium and PVC-U window systems.
High-performance ventilation and filtration
Schüco VentoTherm Twist can be scaled in six increments. Depending on the required volume flow and size, the number of ventilator modules can be adjusted from 2 x 1 to 2 x 6 – for a maximum volume flow of up to 140 m³/h. The ventilation system is available without a filter, with a coarse filter recommended by Schüco for particles > 10 µm (such as dust, pollen, spores) or with a fine particle filter for particles up to 1 µm (such as bacteria). A filter efficiency level of up to 75% is therefore achieved.
Operation and use
The Schüco VentoTherm Twist ventilation system can be controlled manually and automatically. In the Basic version, button operation allows manual control thanks to wireless communication. The alternating switch between incoming and outgoing air ensures a high level of heat recovery by means of temperature sensors. The Comfort version further ensures ventilation to suit requirements thanks to additional air quality sensors. Convenient operation via a modern touchscreen permits intelligent control of the ventilation device. An automatic mode ensures optimum air quality, individual timer programs can be set, silent mode ensures quiet operation and the bypass function can be used for efficient night-time cooling during the summer.
Installation, assembly and maintenance
With a height of 110 mm, a maximum width of 6000 mm and a maximum depth of 345 mm, VentoTherm Twist can be integrated flexibly in all standard Schüco aluminium and PVC-U window systems. The system can be installed horizontally and vertically. It simply needs to be screwed into the unit. Removable components make it possible to carry out intuitive maintenance without tools.
