On August 17, 2026, RENOLIT welcomed 29 new apprentices and dual-track students to its headquarters in Worms at the start of their training programs. On September 1, another 10 young people will begin their programs at the Munich location and four at the Waldkraiburg site. In total, 43 young people are embarking on a new chapter in their lives and taking their first steps into professional life at an internationally active family-owned company.
Our apprentices and dual-track students are an important part of RENOLIT’s future. The shortage of skilled workers continues to pose major challenges for us. We must take action today to address tomorrow’s demographic gap. That is why we are committed to our training programs and tailor them to our needs. We are convinced that this is an important investment in the future of our company – says Markus Blümle, General Manager of Corporate People and Empowerment at RENOLIT.
From engineering and IT to business
RENOLIT is continuing its established approach to training young professionals. This year’s participants can develop their skills in areas including engineering, IT, plastics processing and business operations. The program comprises six apprenticeship programs and five dual-study programs.
From the very beginning, the focus is not only on technical knowledge. Young professionals are encouraged to take responsibility, contribute their own ideas and work independently. This allows them to gain an early understanding of how their work contributes to the company’s operations and success.
Practical experience and international opportunities
A key element of RENOLIT’s training concept is the combination of hands-on learning and personal development. Participants gain experience both at the training center and in specialist departments. They also have the opportunity to experience an international working environment through assignments at other RENOLIT sites around the world.
The program also includes numerous training courses and seminars. At the Worms site, young professionals in their second year of training or studies also complete a social internship with partner organizations in the social sector. The aim is to provide experiences that extend beyond the traditional workplace.
A special element of the program is the “Junior Company” project, which gives apprentices and dual-track students the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of entrepreneurship. Working together, they are responsible for running their own small business within the company – from product development and production to marketing. The project helps them develop skills in independent decision-making, teamwork and business thinking.
Investing in the next generation
We don’t just guide young people through a training program – our responsibility today goes far beyond that. Apprentices and students come to us with very different ideas and expectations. It is exciting to see how they find their own path. Our trainers support them throughout this journey every day – says Stefania Staikou, Director of Apprenticeships & Studies in Germany at RENOLIT.
Against the backdrop of a rapidly changing labor market, the company emphasizes the importance of preparing the next generation for future professional challenges. Its apprenticeship and dual-study programs are designed to help participants discover their strengths, develop practical skills and consciously build their career paths.
For RENOLIT, investing in young professionals is also a way of preparing the company for future challenges related to demographic change and the growing demand for qualified specialists.
