The designers of the awning placed particular emphasis on a clean look when the awning is retracted. The projection profile joint area and the cassette are on the top, meaning that the view from the front is clear and simple. The awning side covers can be mounted without any visible screw connections, amplifying the puristic impression.
Customised colours and excellent durability
Warema offers more than 200 fabric designs to customise the awning so that it fits in perfectly with the building facade and personal preferences. Thanks to Warema’s vast Colour World, the cassette, articulated arms and high-grade-aluminium accessories can be individually powder-coated. The “highly weather-resistant fine texture” surface quality is also available in the Highlight and Variation colour categories at no additional cost. This ensures that the colour remains vibrant and long-lasting and is resilient to scratches and dirt. The product can be fitted with a valance roller blind for vertical sun shading and privacy when the sun is low. This does not change the cassette dimensions, which remain standardised and compact at 260 x 130 mm. Other additional fittings include LED strips in the cassette for indirect lighting when the awning is extended.

Now, LED strips can also be integrated into the cassette's base profile for stylish patio or balcony lighting even when the awning is retracted. The efficient designer radiant heater ensures a wonderful ambience at a pleasant temperature, can be matched to the colour of the awning frame or facade and can be adjusted to three heat settings using the WMS dimmer.

With maximum dimensions of 6 metres in width and 3.5 metres of projection, the awning is exceptionally well-suited for small and medium-sized patios. It can be operated conveniently via a motor, a WMS radio remote control with hand-held transmitter, a wall-mounted transmitter, tablet or smartphone. The WMS weather station ensures that the awning is automatically retracted and protected when bad weather approaches.
The Terrea K55 cassette awning is installed with the aid of just two consoles on the wall, ceiling or rafters. It can be angled at up to 35° using an integrated tilting joint.
