Zeus is a machining centre with 5 axes and mobile column ideal for light and heavy industry. Designed for milling, drilling, threading and cutting of large sized aluminium bars, it can also work profiles in iron, light alloys and steel. The 15 KW powered electric spindle in S1 with tools attachment HSK-63F guarantees even heavy machining and offers satisfactory results. The automatic tools warehouse, on the mobile head, can host 16 tools and can be expanded up to 30 places. Furthermore, there is a 550 mm tool blade compartment with specific warehouse separated from the tools warehouse. It is also possible to use the machine in pendulum mode (in 7 and 9 m versions), maximising production, executing the part change in “concurrent” time and thereby reducing machine downtime to a minimum. Standard configuration available with automatic positioning using a column. Also available with independent automated vice positioning. The machining centre has the particular detail of offering a 90° cutting unit with 500mm blade, to section large sized profiles. ZEUS is equipped with a gantry feature that not only protects the operator, but also allows maximum visibility in production and reduces the acoustic environmental impact. Lastly, a version is also available with a booth, which has a considerable aesthetic impact. Also available in 7, 9 and 12 m versions.
