Beginning of the company can be found in 2006, when the originator, after graduation, began his adventure with the door industry. For many years he gained experience and start-up capital to realize this investment.
In 2015 Polstar Doors started its operations also with factory construction. Technically advanced equipment suppliers have been selected. In July 2016 the Polstar door factory is officially opened. We are talking with Tomasz Michalski, the main shareholder and member of the Polstar Doors managment.
How do you want to emerge on the market with your products?
The idea for the company was made in 2013. Previously I was involved in the trade of building joinery for many years. My dream was always to build a recognizable door in the PREMIUM standard. I think the brand is the main asset of the company. I took this task because I like the challenge.
In that time, we have been able to launch a high quality PREMIUM door for the short term. It’s still a long way to gain a market success, but I believe, that our determination will bring the expected result, which is: the European brand of PREMIUM doors.
Polstar has entered to the market, 16 months after the factory was opened. It was a considered and conscious decision. We needed those 16 months to convert a few thousands of doors manufactured exclusively for some of our customers under the Capital brand. We also used this time to sample, test and refine the products from the offer. High quality of the product backed by fast delivery times, 4 tailor made packages, unique design and prestigious branding is that what stands Polstar Doors.

What kind of suppliers do you work with?
We only use reputable, trusted suppliers such as Wolf, Roto, Axa or Lampre. We have close and long-term relationships with them, because most of our executives have been working in the joinery industry for years.
What is the plan for further development of the brand?
In 2018 we will look for trading partners and build distribution connection. As exhibitors we are going to BUDMA fairtrade in Poznan and FENSTERBAU FRONTALE in Nuremberg. We are also working on new products and second edition of the Polstar 2018 brochure.
We received almost 10 million in Polish currency from European Union funds, winning the prestigious first place in the competition for innovative product. I dream of building a factory according to the idea of industry 4.0. Intelligent production of IoT, automatic line equipped with robots, use of blockchain technology in the industry. Of course, this involves creating high quality jobs. We would also like to expand our offer with aluminum joinery.
